Flipt Review and Pricing
AS OF 1/4/2021, FLIPT APPEARS TO BE DEFUNCT AND HAS NO SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVITY SINCE 2019. I HAVE LEFT MY FINAL REVIEW COMPLETE BELOW, AS WELL AS ALTERNATIVES TO CONSIDER.
Flipt bills itself as an “AI technology company” that connects brokers with home sellers. They do this via predictive analytics tapping into public databases and social media to curate a “most likely to sell” list with a focus on sellers. Their system targets these would-be-home sellers via online ads based on your zip code coverage.
Flipt is a small company founded in 2014 and headquartered in Seattle, WA.
Some Customizability
Welcome to your one-stop shop for Flipt reviews!
You can upload not only your headshot but also your own background image. I highly recommend putting some thought into your branding and advertising rather than using stock images.
Display advertising doesn’t have a super high commercial intent.
These are the ads that are nestled in the sidebars of the pages you visit. Website owners earn a few cents or dollars for every thousand visitors who see the ad.
Not only are they weak on conversion, they are difficult to attribute an ROI to. What you are likely getting from them is bombarding your intended audience with your brand, and hopefully infiltrating their mind that way.
Display Advertising
The problem with Flipt is that the impressions you are paying for are not nearly enough to make money on brand awareness alone. Instead, you must cast your trust that they are indeed able to find and exclusively target motivated sellers. A tall order.
Flipt offers a certain amount of vailable spots per zip code in approximately 1000/mo blocks.
Use Flipt if…
I tested four zip codes in 75228 (Dallas TX) and the budget was $5760 for an estimated 48,000 annual ad views, which is approximately $1 per 8 views.
They have two different plans, an annual or a bi-annual plan, the latter hitting prospects twice a year.

I have not used Flipt.
Skip Flipt if…
But holy cow, it would have to be really something to be worth it. $1 for 8 impressions is wildly expensive.
To put that in perspective, a median Google Display CPM campaign is about $2.40. CPM means “cost per thousand”. So that is about $1 for 416 impressions in Google’s display network.
Now, if you were to pay someone to manage your Google Ads spend, you might have a 10% management fee, which still would be significantly cheaper than Flipt.
But what about predictive analytics and AI? I’ll believe it when I see it. There are some such companies that are refreshingly open about their methods and results, but it would have to be phenomenal results from Flipt in order to beat out a basic managed Google Ads or Facebook Ads campaign.
- ~$1 / 8 views
For the same cost, you could probably blanket your entire zip code with ads based on a few demographic filters in Google Ads and get far more bang for your buck.
If Flipt knows something I don’t I’d love to hear about it.
- You have money you can afford to lose and want to experiment with a predictive analytics solution targeting sellers
- You want a cheap set-it-and-forget-it way to blanket the web with your display advertising (consider Adwerx)
- You want to earn paid seller leads (consider Offrs)
- You’re interested in low-cost motivated sellers looking for cash offers (consider ZBuyer)
